Reaching Kaş by Bus from Other Cities

If you’re not coming by your own vehicle and prefer road travel by bus, there are direct bus services to Kaş from Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir. The number of trips varies by the operator you choose and the season. Alternatively, you can reach Fethiye or Antalya bus terminals from other cities and transfer to Kaş. During summer, these terminals run frequent services to Kaş throughout the day.

How to Get to Kaş by Road?

If you’re coming by your own vehicle, you can reach Kaş from two directions: from the west (Muğla–Fethiye) or from the east (Antalya).

From the West

Muğla → Kaş (218 km • ~3 hours 20 min)

Muğla (218 km) → Köyceğiz (174 km) → Göcek (130 km) → Fethiye (105 km) → Kalkan (25 km) → Kaş. The Göcek tunnel and the winding yet scenic coastal road between Fethiye and Kalkan turn this route into an enjoyable journey of its own.

From the East

Antalya → Kaş (~190 km • ~3.5 hours)

Antalya (190 km) → Kemer (145 km) → Kumluca (131 km) → Finike (75 km) → Demre (45 km) → Kaş. The Mediterranean view accompanies you along the entire D-400 highway. By public transport, the journey can stretch up to 4 hours.

Hitchhiking to Kaş 👍

If you say “I’m seeking adventure, my spirit is young,” hitchhiking to Kaş can be an unforgettable experience. It’s possible from both the Fethiye direction (west) and the Antalya direction (east). To reach Kaş, head to the D-400 highway and start hitchhiking toward Kaş; finding a ride along the Mediterranean coast will be easier than you think.

The New Kaş Bus Terminal

Once within walking distance of the town center, the Kaş Bus Terminal has now been relocated outside the town. From the new terminal, the town center and Luna Kaş are not within walking distance, but a few minutes by taxi or dolmuş (shared minibus).
