The hottest and busiest months in Kas are July, August, and September. If you prefer to skip the crowds and enjoy some more mild weather, May, June, October, and November are just perfect. During May and June, the days are long and the weather warm however, as the sea tends to warm up slower than the air, it may be cooler than usual during these months. During October and November however, the sea is delightfully warm and the weather is beautiful, the only downside might be the shorter fall days. The months of December, January, and February typically feature cool, rainy weather, not ideal for a beach holiday. While March and April may still be too cool for swimming and sunbathing, they are some of the best months for hiking and other outdoor pursuits.
Since tourism is the main industry in Kas, life goes on as usual during Ramadan and other holidays. All restaurants, cafes, and bars remain open during Ramadan and the bus system runs as normal. The only effect other religious holidays, or Turkish national holidays, has on the town is the influx of local tourists. Therefore, you many have difficulty finding accommodation during these holidays so make sure to book in advance!
We would be more than happy to help any of our guests plan a boat trip or other day-long excursion. During the high season, you are almost guaranteed a spot on a boat trip, since most services depart every day. However, since each boat trip requires a minimum amount of passengers, there may be some days during the spring or fall when there are simply no boats departing. Nevertheless, we will try our best to organize a boat trip or any other of your desired activities. There are no half-day trips available, all require a full day. Prices may vary year to year.
From Antalya Airport
If you are coming with your own car or a rental vehicle from the airport, the journey from Antalya to Kaş takes approximately 3 hours. The fastest and most comfortable option is a private transfer service; upon request, we can organize your airport-hotel or hotel-airport transfer. Please contact us for pricing information.
If you prefer public transportation, you will first need to reach Antalya city center. You can take a city bus, tram, taxi, or the Havaş shuttle to Antalya Bus Station (approximately 40 minutes depending on traffic). From Antalya Bus Station, the bus ride to Kaş takes around 4.5 hours. We strongly recommend checking bus schedules in advance, as it can be difficult to find buses in the evening hours.
From Dalaman Airport
If you are coming with your own car or a rental vehicle from the airport, the journey from Dalaman to Kaş takes approximately 2 hours. A private transfer service is the fastest and most convenient option; we are happy to arrange this for you upon request. Please contact us for pricing details.
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Havaş shuttle from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye Bus Station. From there, minibuses depart regularly for Kaş, with a journey time of about 2.5 hours. We recommend checking the bus schedules in advance, as evening services may be limited.

Walking Directions:
Exit the Kaş bus station from the east side and turn right (heading south). After a short walk, you’ll reach an intersection—turn left here and continue walking with the Petrol Ofisi gas station on your right. Keep going straight; you’ll see the Health Center building on your left. Soon you will reach Likya Park (parking area); walk through the park area to reach Likya Street. Once you arrive at Likya Street, turn right and follow the road straight. You’ll pass the Merkez School on your right; just after that, look to your left where you’ll spot signs for Luna Hotel. Follow the signs to the staircase. Climb up the three sets of stairs, and at the top you’ll find direction signs guiding you to the reception.
If you prefer not to walk, taxis are readily available outside the bus station. A taxi can bring you directly to the hotel’s parking area, allowing you to reach reception without needing to use the stairs.
Transportation from Ağullu Bus Station
The bus station in Ağullu (the new Kaş bus station) is located slightly outside the town center. From there, you can take a taxi or use the regularly operating minibuses to reach Kaş town center. Minibuses will drop you off at the Kaş central bus station, from where you can follow the walking directions above to reach our hotel. If you prefer to come directly to the hotel by taxi, simply tell the driver “Luna Hotel Kaş.”
If you take a taxi directly to the hotel, please kindly remind the driver that they should follow the route through the hotel’s parking area to drop you off right at the reception entrance, ensuring easy access without stairs.
If you are driving from Antalya, finding our hotel is quite easy. Once you arrive in Kaş, head towards the town center; our hotel is located right in the center of Kaş, within walking distance of the harbor and main square. You can simply search for “Luna Hotel Kaş” in your navigation app for general directions.

No, our hotel doesn’t have its own beach or swimming platform. The closest beach, a small, pebble beach called ‘Kucuk cakil’, is just a five minute walk from the hotel however.
Luna Hotel is very centrally located, just a 5 minute walk from all the bars, restaurants, and shops that line downtown Kas’s streets.
Yes, we offer a complimentary parking area for our guests. While the parking space is not paved, it is a spacious, natural ground area located close to the hotel where guests can safely leave their vehicles. Our parking is free of charge, allowing you to enjoy your stay without the worry of finding a parking spot—especially during the busy summer season in Kaş.
No, unfortunately most buildings in Kas do not feature elevators, including Luna Hotel. The building is accessed via stairs.
